SPI Digital Health: Another SMART Move as AWS Adds Three APIs to HeathLake

Earlier this month, Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced it had added three new APIs to its HealthLake data aggregation platform.  

The addition of SMART on FHIR, Patient Access API and the FHIR Bulk Data Access API to HealthLake is designed to allow EHR vendors, independent software vendors and IT teams to build interoperability applications that meet Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) and CMS patient access rules in the US.
