SPI Digital Health: Another Step Forward for Oracle Health

Late last month, the Indian Health Service (IHS), a division of the US Department of Health and Human Services, announced that it had selected General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), a unit of global technology and professional services company General Dynamics, to develop a new EHR system.
As part of a contract worth $2.5B, GDIT will commission Oracle Health to replace IHS’ Resource and Patient Management System (RPMS), a platform that has been handling patient registration and billing functions for the provider for the last 40 years.
