SPI Digital Health: Oracle Cerner Flexes its Muscles With Ontario eHub HIE

Four months after winning a $365M contract in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia, Oracle Cerner delivered more good news in the country last month with the launch of its ‘eHub’ Health Information Exchange (HIE) at 21 long-term care facilities and hospitals in Ontario. 

According to Oracle Cerner, the Ontario eHub HIE will support the transition of patients from acute to long-term care. The initial rollout, which covers five acute care hospitals and 16 long-term care facilities that run on Oracle Cerner EHR technology, is slated to complete by the end of 2024.
