Signify Premium Insight: Bracco’s Subtle Strategy

Bracco Imaging has recently announced a global agreement with Subtle Medical in a bid to help improve MRI imaging. The partnership will see the contrast agent vendor and the AI image acquisition specialist leverage one another’s capabilities to improve the accuracy and efficiency of image interpretation and offer better diagnostic capabilities and better optimised patient care.
The partnership is global but will initially have the greatest impact in the United States, through Bracco Imaging’s Bracco Diagnostics subsidiary.
It is an interesting move for both companies, but how does it position Bracco against Bayer, which has already invested heavily in digital tools and already has ties to Subtle, and what is the longer-term opportunity for Subtle?
