Bottoming out
Overall, imaging IT has emerged through the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic relatively unscathed. The closing of deals discussed prior to 2020 helped to buoy the market, along with additional spending from healthcare providers to support COVID-19 pandemic response plans. However, the worst may be yet to come, with initial reports suggesting relatively weak deal pipeline for 2021, in part due to the second-wave response from healthcare provider delaying new contract discussion. At the time of writing, we see 2021 as the likely bottom of the market
