Signify Premium Insight: GE Looks to Avoid Missed Opportunities

Providers across the world are facing significant operational challenges. All manner of factors, from changing demographics, to workforce shortages and spiralling healthcare spending mean that vendors and providers have to eliminate inefficiencies wherever possible.

GE HealthCare has teamed up with Mass General Brigham in a bid to make progress in this regard, with the partnership focused on developing an AI algorithm that will help increase the effectiveness and productivity of radiology departments, with a new solution, the Radiology Operations Module (ROM).

The ROM is centred around the department’s planning, and aims to optimise scheduling, reducing cost and minimising the administrative burden that orchestrating and organising radiology department operations require.
