Signify Premium Insight: Intelerad Adds Insignia to its List of Acquisitions

Intelerad’s shopping spree continued with the acquisition of Insignia Medical Systems. The deal will give Intelerad a greater presence in Insignia’s home market of the UK and will help the Canadian vendor establish closer ties with Insignia’s customers in the NHS (National Health Service). The move will also grant Intelerad access to Insignia’s technology, which is used to manage more than 3bn customer images across provider sites of multiple sizes.

The deal marks Intelerad’s fifth acquisition over the last year and comes on the back of agreements for cloud-hosting provider Radius in August 2020, ultrasound image management outfit Digisonics in December 2020, cardiovascular
