Signify Premium Insight: Oracle and Ferrum: Imaging AI in the Cloud

Oracle recently revealed that the capabilities of its Oracle Cloud Marketplace were extending to medical imaging, with the app store’s inclusion of Ferrum Health’s AI platform. The partnership combines Ferrum Health’s catalogue of AI solutions and its proprietary orchestration technologies, alongside Oracle’s cloud infrastructure.

The vendors say that the partnership will help health systems by granting them seamless access to, and deployment of a range of tools to increase hospital efficiency and improve patient outcomes. By joining with Ferrum, Oracle’s cloud customers will now be able to access AI image analysis tools spanning a variety of use cases including cardiovascular, oncology, emergency medicine and orthopaedics, which can also be validated by the platform.
