Signify Premium Insight: Konica Minolta’s Handheld Handshake

Konica Minolta recently threw its hat in the increasingly competitive handheld ultrasound ring. The Japanese vendor will distribute the wireless device through Healcerion. The PocketPro H^2, as Konica has named the device, will also be able to utilise Healcerion’s SononX app.

The device is targeting a number of use cases, including vascular access, needle guidance, musculoskeletal (MSK) and pain management. By offering the device, Konica is able to enter the growing handheld ultrasound market, but has it done enough to stand out?
