Signify Premium Insight: Philips and Chison Harbour Designs on the Chinese Ultrasound Market

Philips has recently added to its list of partners by signing an agreement with Chinese ultrasound vendor, Chison Medical Technology. The agreement will see the two parties focus on the needs of the Chinese market and provide products that meet those needs for a wide range of care settings.

Chison and Philips’ portfolios are very complementary, which, the vendors will hope, will allow them to best serve the Chinese market, and fend off competition from other vendors in the ultrasound space, both domestic and international.

The partners intend to capitalise on the Chinese market by accelerating the availability of localised products to the Chinese healthcare system, with a particular focus on bringing affordable care to more Chinese patients.
