As the world is facing a new challenge in trying to both adapt to and defend itself against the novel coronavirus, artificial intelligence (AI) is offering new hope that a cure might be developed faster than ever before.
In fact, startups focusing on the use of AI in drug design and development have seen significant investment of around $5.2 billion in recent years.
