Just over 12 months ago, UK virtual ward platform vendor Doccla acquired Danish remote patient monitoring (RPM) platform vendor OpenTeleHealth (OTH). At the time, the acquisition was positioned by Doccla as being a launchpad for a geographical expansion beyond UK shores where it has enjoyed significant success with the NHS over the last four years, into a number of European markets.
A year on, Doccla’s ambitions are no less grand, announcing earlier this month that it had raised £35M ($45.8M) in Series B funding. It says this money will be used to scale its platform in France and DACH regions …
