The Role

Signify Research is recruiting for a Senior/Principal Market Analyst to support its healthcare technology market intelligence practice, specifically its Healthcare IT research.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on the production and management of off-the-shelf market intelligence services and custom research and consulting projects. The role involves research scoping, managing client interaction, primary and secondary research, data analysis, report creation, client presentations, project management, marketing, and sales.

As a senior position in the Healthcare IT team, the role also requires that the successful candidate actively contributes to strategy, service direction and portfolio expansion across our Healthcare IT coverage area. The role will require regular interaction with C-Suite and senior strategic management personas at some of the world’s most respected technology vendors, so you will need to be competent in providing value and clear messaging in these environments. The successful candidate will also need to create and maintain a close feedback loop with our sales and marketing team to hone the value proposition, commercial strategy, and market positioning of our products. There is also the potential the role will include the management of other team members and their personal development, depending on the successful candidate’s experience and career aspirations.

The Senior/Principal Analyst will report to one of our Research Managers. This is a permanent, full-time role, either based at our Cranfield, UK office, working remotely or a mix of the two.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of the relevant Market Intelligence Service execution, including client management, scoping/quoting, project management, research, data analysis, data manipulation, report writing and client presentations (in-person and virtually)
  • Lead and manage custom research and consulting projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables
  • Conduct primary research interviews with senior executives at healthcare technology companies and healthcare providers
  • Design and build market models to estimate market sizes and to forecast market growth. Write thought leadership content, such as insights, articles, white papers, etc.
  • Attend and present at industry conferences
  • Work closely with the company’s marketing and sales teams to develop new business.
  • Forge and maintain relationships with leading companies in the global healthcare technology ecosystem, including manufacturers, healthcare providers and investors
  • Market and promote the company’s products and services to current and prospective clients
  • Stay up-to-date and informed about the latest developments in the healthcare technology market

Your Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business, economics, engineering, or science-related field
  • The role would ideally suit someone who has 5-10 years’ experience in an analyst position, or who has relevant experience in the healthcare industry that can be leveraged in an analyst role.
  • Experience covering IT and technology, in healthcare or other related market sectors is particularly valued.
  • Ability to communicate and consult with C-Suite level clients
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and complex environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, particularly Excel
  • Strong project management skills
  • An inquisitive mind
  • An interest in healthcare and healthcare technology
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior team members
