Late last year EHR vendor Athenahealth announced that it was adding generative AI capabilities to its AthenaOne solution. The vendor, which offers EHR, revenue cycle management and patient engagement solutions, says that the new tools will alleviate administrative burdens for providers and help them deliver better care to patients.
By offering such tools, Athenahealth can now boast of a spot alongside other leading vendors in offering the latest technology to create excitement among healthtech vendors, but, will this progressiveness be enough to impact the vendor’s bottom line?
