Hindsight is a wonderful thing. So when the American Medical Association’s (AMA) CPT Editorial Committee postponed proposals for an overhaul of reimbursement codes, remote patient monitoring (RPM) stakeholders including providers, vendors and patients will have justifiably been reflecting on whether this was an opportunity missed for much-needed reform.
