SPI Medical Imaging: GE HealthCare Reinforces its Women’s Health Ultrasound Portfolio

GE HealthCare launched two new women’s health ultrasound systems, Voluson Signature 20 and 18, in April. The vendor states that the systems include integrated AI, alongside tools and design features which aim to increase the speed of exams and provide a clearer picture of women’s health conditions. The systems also integrate GE Healthcare’s Vscan Air CL wireless dual probe, offering a wireless workflow.

The Voluson Signature 20 and 18 systems broaden GE HealthCare’s women’s health ultrasound portfolio and are indicative of the vendor’s strategy, which has allowed it to establish a dominant position in this segment and the wider ultrasound market.
