Intelerad acquires Ambra Health

15th October 2021 – Featured on Dotmed.com – Intelerad Medical Systems has acquired Ambra Health, a developer of cloud-based medical image management software, in a deal that brings its value up to $1.7 billion.

Ambra’s cloud capabilities are expected to help enhance Intelerad’s portfolio and grow its reach in the global hospital imaging IT market, which has an estimated $4.5 billion value, according to the Signify Research Imaging IT World Report 2021.The two companies will also work together to provide distributed radiology reading and collaborative care solutions to help providers address diverse health concerns among different patient populations.
