The combined electronic medical record (EMR) and electronic health record (EHR) markets in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa are “highly fragmented” and managed by a varied assortment of local and international vendors, according to a recent report from research firm Signify Research.

At an estimated value of $3.7 billion (3.31 billion euros), the EMR/EHR market in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa has invited a mixture of local and international vendors. In 2018, each of the numerous vendors held a relatively small share of the total revenue, with only one vendor, Cerner, having a double-digit share at 16%, Signify noted.
