SPI Medical Imaging: Resurgent But Restrained: Growing Confidence for AI in Medical Imaging

Twenty twenty-three presented a varied picture for AI in medical imaging. On one hand, AI is once again at the forefront of conversations and was a dominating feature of the recent RSNA annual meeting. On the other, economic instability took its toll, investors demonstrated much greater restraint and higher expectations to justify funding, and revenue generation became a more urgent consideration for vendors.
