Is IBM Ready to Dominate Radiology With AI?

Everywhere you turn, startups are burning through venture capital funds in a mad rush to land grab as much ‚”big data‚” as possible which will be used to produce the best artificial intelligence algorithms possible. Back in February of this year, we were all proud of ourselves for putting together what we thought at the time was a comprehensive list of ‚”9 Artificial Intelligence Startups in Medical Imaging‚”. Just 7 months later, we see that there are now more than 40 medical imaging startups developing AI algorithms for use in radiology.
